Miles for Music 2027

Miles for Music 5K 2027

Miles of Movement. A Lifetime of Music.

Join us on Saturday, August 7, 2027, at Hart Ranch in Rapid City for the Second Annual Miles for Music 5K, a community celebration bringing together music, movement, and a shared love of the arts!

Hosted by Black Hills Studio of the Arts (BHSA), the Miles for Music 5K is about more than crossing a finish line. It's about creating opportunities, strengthening our community, and helping music and the arts thrive for generations to come.

BHSA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring a lifelong passion for music and the arts through music instruction, performances, community outreach, and programs that make the arts more accessible. Every step taken at Miles for Music helps support this mission and the work that brings music into the lives of students, families, and our community.

Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, running with friends, or bringing the whole family, there's a place for you at Miles for Music. Come for the miles, stay for the music, and be part of something that makes a difference!

After the incredible community support behind our inaugural event, we're excited to welcome everyone back to Hart Ranch for another morning of connection, celebration, and purpose.

Every mile matters. Every participant makes a difference. Together, we're making room for more music.

Lace up, bring your people, and join us for the Second Annual Miles for Music 5K!

Run for the miles. Give for the music. Move our mission forward.

Proceeds support Black Hills Studio of the Arts and its mission to nurture a lifelong passion for music and the arts in the Black Hills.
