The Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend returns this May Bank Holiday to challenge running enthusiasts across three distinct locations. The weekend kicks off on Saturday, May 4th with an invigorating 10 Mile run through the picturesque streets of East Grinstead. On Sunday, May 5th, runners will head to Haywards Heath for another exhilarating 10 Mile race that winds through historic sites and lush greenery. Monday, May 6th concludes the event in Burgess Hill with a dynamic 10K course that showcases the town's charming architecture. This event caters to all levels of runners, from beginners eager to dip their toes into competition to seasoned athletes looking for an added challenge. Participants can opt to compete individually in one or more of the daily races, or tackle the full marathon distance by completing the three-day circuit totaling 26.2 miles. For younger participants and newcomers to running, there are special Mid Sussex Fun Runs and Mid Sussex Mile races designed to introduce them to the sport's excitement. For those who cannot join us in person, a virtual race option is available, allowing runners from around the world to participate at their own pace and location while still being part of this unique weekend experience.
