Phoenix Running West Sussex invites runners of all abilities to the Big Badger Run on the scenic Downslink at Southwater, West Sussex. This unique timed event offers an out-and-back course stretching 5 kilometers (3.28 miles) along a compact trail that winds through picturesque countryside. Participants have up to seven hours to complete as many laps as they wish, making it ideal for both casual runners and serious competitors.
The route is flat and off-road, providing a smooth yet engaging experience with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Whether you're aiming for a quick 5k or pushing yourself beyond your limits in this flexible format, every finisher will receive a bespoke finisher's medal to commemorate their achievement. Start times are also incredibly accommodating; participants can begin running whenever they arrive and must complete their run by 3pm.
No need to pre-plan the distance you'll cover—simply start when it feels right for you and continue as long as your body allows within the time limit.
