Malbun Marathon

Immerse yourself in the Malbun Marathon, where every step challenges your limits while offering panoramic views that make each lap unforgettable. The race course is designed as a circuit with an approximate distance of 3.54 kilometers per loop. To complete the marathon, participants will run around 12 laps, totaling about 42.195 km (26.2 miles). However, the exact measurement of the loop will be finalized on the day before the race to ensure that all runners cover at least this distance.
Running with a GPS watch is mandatory for every participant; devices such as Garmin, Apple, and COROS are permitted but required for accurate timing. This ensures that each runner's performance can be recorded precisely. After crossing the finish line, participants must submit their GPS data along with their bib number to the timekeeper on site in order to have their results officially documented.
The Malbun Marathon promises a scenic yet demanding experience as runners navigate through challenging climbs and breathtaking trails. This event is not just about reaching the end; it's an opportunity to push your personal boundaries while enjoying some of the most beautiful landscapes that Malbun has to offer.
Each lap presents unique terrain, from steep ascents that test endurance to flat stretches where speed can be maintained. The race environment fosters a supportive community atmosphere, encouraging participants to cheer each other on throughout the day's competition.
