MISPO, founded on February 22, 1989, has evolved from its origins as the Running Club Mispo into a dynamic health club that caters to diverse fitness interests. Over the years, members have participated in running events across countries like Hungary, Finland, Sweden, Bulgaria, Latvia, and Lithuania, showcasing their commitment to physical activity beyond national borders. The club is renowned for organizing collective bicycle and boat trips, as well as individual participation in marathons and even Olympic games. Notable achievements include the success of members' children in track and field (Ebe Reier, Jan and Janek Õiglane) and cycling (Tanel Kangert). Despite changes over time, MISPO's core spirit remains vibrant, with a dedicated group that continues to embrace running and other forms of exercise. Members gather every Monday and Wednesday for their regular activities, embodying the club’s enduring enthusiasm. The upcoming two-day road marathon offers runners an exceptional chance to accumulate kilometers in a supportive environment.
