The Lyke Wake Walk, established by Bill Cowley in 1955, is an iconic challenge that traverses the expansive moorlands of North York Moors National Park. This grueling trek covers nearly 39 miles between Scarth Wood Moor and Ravenscar on the North Sea Coast, offering a unique test for seasoned hikers and adventurous souls alike.
The walk's route takes participants through some of England’s most breathtaking landscapes—rolling hills, rugged moorland, and dense forests that change with each season.
