Lichfield Santa Hat Dash

Join the Lichfield Santa Hat Dash on Sunday, December 20th, for an unforgettable festive run through the heart of this charming city. This year’s edition promises to be bigger and brighter than ever before, as runners gather at Stowe Pool in Lichfield City Centre.
The event kicks off with a warm-up session starting from 10:30 am, followed by the dash itself which begins promptly at 11:00 am. Participants are encouraged to walk, skip, or run their way through this fun-filled course, all while spreading Christmas cheer and kindness throughout Lichfield.
Every runner will receive a Santa hat upon registration as part of the event’s commitment to supporting those in need during the holiday season. This year, participants are asked to bring along an extra woolly hat, scarf, or pair of gloves for donation. These items will benefit Crisis UK and local projects that assist families facing disadvantage or homelessness this Christmas.
Adding a special touch to the day is the appearance of a beloved surprise guest who will join runners at Stowe Pool to officially open the dash. This event is not just about running; it’s an opportunity to come together as a community, celebrate kindness, and make a difference in people's lives during the holiday season.
Organized by The Sebbie Hall Kindness Foundation alongside Liberty Jamboree, the Lichfield Santa Hat Dash continues its tradition of bringing joy and warmth to the city. Whether you’re running with friends or family, this event offers an excellent way to embrace the festive spirit while supporting a worthy cause.
