About the Event

The Cross Duathlon of Montélimar is part of the winter circuit "L'Hivernale de Cross Du" organized by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Triathlon League. This race serves as a qualifying step for athletes to earn spots in the final event at the end of the winter season.
The event also acts as the Drôme Regional Championship, awarding titles across various categories to participants who excel. Four distinct races are offered to accommodate all age groups:
- Jeunes 1 (6–9 years old): A specially adapted format for younger competitors.
- Jeunes 2 (10–11 years old): Designed specifically for young athletes in this age range.
- XS – Benjamins / Minimes: Open to both category-specific and open participants.
- S – Cadets / Juniors / Adults: Suitable for a wide range of experience levels, including those competing in the open class.
The goal is to provide an accessible yet competitive winter event that encourages young athletes to explore combined disciplines while offering experienced competitors a well-structured competition.
Organized by Montélimar Triathlon with support from key partners such as the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Drôme-Ardèche Triathlon Committees, along with the city of Montélimar and its agglomeration, this race is set to be a welcoming environment for all levels of athletes.
