Course Nature Lafarge / Ltc

On November 8, 2026, the third edition of an exciting trail running and trekking event will take place near the Lafarge cement factory. The day offers runners three distinct options: a challenging 22-kilometer race for both solo competitors and teams, as well as a more relaxed 11-kilometer hike.
Participants can choose to start their journey at either distance or opt for an extended adventure by joining the longer trail run. All events begin within half an hour of each other, with the trekking route kicking off first at 9:15 AM, followed closely by the shorter race starting at 10:00 AM and the marathon-length event beginning promptly at 9:30 AM.
The course winds through the heart of the factory grounds before ascending into a rugged quarry landscape. Runners will encounter varied terrain including winding dirt paths and monotracks that wind their way around the commune's natural features, offering spectacular views along the route. The finish line awaits back at the Lafarge site, where runners cross the threshold in front of the town hall.
Proceeds from some of the race entries will be donated to a charitable cause, ensuring participants contribute positively beyond just physical exertion and enjoyment. This event promises an unforgettable blend of scenic beauty, challenging terrain, and community spirit for all who take part.
The experience is not only about pushing personal limits but also immersing oneself in the unique environment surrounding one of France's iconic industrial landmarks. Runners will traverse a mix of paved roads within the factory complex and then venture into more natural settings as they ascend into the quarry area, offering an intriguing juxtaposition between human-made structures and untouched wilderness.
Whether racing solo or alongside teammates, each participant will navigate through diverse landscapes that highlight both man's interaction with nature and its raw beauty. The event concludes in a celebratory atmosphere back at the heart of the community, where runners can reflect on their achievements while supporting an important charitable initiative.
