Breaking down financial barriers to youth sports participation, the Central Huron Community Complex will host the All Access Athletics 5K & 10K on June 13, 2027. This annual run is more than just a race; it's an inspiring community event that aims to make athletic opportunities accessible for all local children.
Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome at this family-friendly event, which kicks off the All Access Athletics season in style. The race promises not only competitive distances but also a supportive atmosphere designed to bring runners together around a shared goal: ensuring every child has equal access to sports programs.
Registration fees collected will directly fund subsidized youth sport registration fees for fall 2027, helping families cover costs that might otherwise prevent their children from joining teams and leagues. Additionally, any extra donations raised through the event will be used to purchase new equipment for young athletes in need within the community.
Runners can look forward to receiving a race bib, race kit, an All-Access T-shirt, as well as post-race nutrition and hydration refreshments upon completion of their run. The event also features an equipment drive where participants are encouraged to bring gently used sports gear that will be distributed among local youth athletes in need.
