About the Event

Carrying on the tradition of the Lake Biwa Mainichi Marathon, the 'Lake Biwa Marathon' now reaches its 5th edition. With a flat course along the Lake Biwa shoreline, you can chase a fast time, and a high finish rate (94.4%) puts beginners at ease too! Enjoy Shiga-style aid stations like Omi beef roast beef, plus enthusiastic volunteer support. Selected among the nation's top 100 running events for 3 straight years! (Bibs, etc. shipped in advance) Entry fees: Marathon: ¥15,000 (includes sports accident insurance, etc.) — a separate entry processing fee (6% of payment amount, tax included) applies. Pair Relay Marathon: ¥17,000/pair (2 people) (includes sports accident insurance, etc.) — a separate entry processing fee (6% of payment amount, tax included) applies. Optional ¥500 charity donation unit.
