Keighley 10k & 5k 2027

The Keighley 10k and 5k are annual running events that kick off the season, sponsored by Modality partnership. Both races take place along scenic routes through Keighley, Utley, and Riddlesden, featuring a circular path that winds past local landmarks such as historic East Riddlesden Hall and sections of the Leeds Liverpool canal towpath.
The 10k route offers runners an additional challenge with its inclusion of the picturesque Keighley Golf Club. Participants will experience diverse terrain, from paved streets to grassy paths, providing both a physical test and stunning views throughout their journey.
Upon crossing the finish line, all participants who request them receive a unique wooden medal crafted from recycled Christmas trees donated by Sue Ryder earlier in January. This thoughtful gesture not only celebrates runners' achievements but also supports sustainable initiatives.
The event coincides with Mother's Day each year, making it a special occasion for those running or walking to honor their mothers or remember loved ones who have passed away.
