About the Event

On April 24, 2027, runners and walkers are invited to participate in an exhilarating event that celebrates the beauty of spring at Gardens by the Park. The course offers two options: a fast and flat certified 5K run for those looking for a challenging yet smooth experience or a leisurely 1K walk designed for all ages.
The day promises not only athletic competition but also entertainment with live performances from the K-State band, adding an energetic rhythm to your journey through the park. Spectators will be captivated by the twirl team's dynamic routines, showcasing skill and grace alongside the vibrant atmosphere of the event.
For families, there are plenty of activities designed for children, including free face painting and interactive sessions with a talented chalk artist who brings creativity to life on pavements around the venue. Adding to this festive ambiance is the breathtaking sight of 10,000 tulips in full bloom across the garden pathways, creating a colorful backdrop that enhances every step taken by participants.
This event offers an ideal blend of physical activity and community spirit amidst one of nature's most enchanting displays, making it a memorable experience for runners and visitors alike.
