Flint Hills Gravel

Immerse yourself in the rugged beauty of Kansas’s Flint Hills at the Flint Hills Gravel event, scheduled for April 17, 2027. The terrain offers a challenging mix of gravel roads and mixed surfaces that cater to both runners and cyclists. Choose from three running distances: a short but intense 6k run through scenic trails, a more substantial 10k route with varied elevation changes, or the half-marathon option at 21k for those seeking an extended adventure on foot.
For cycling enthusiasts, four gravel ride options are available ranging from casual to epic. The shorter routes include distances of 20+ and 40+, providing a taste of the region’s diverse landscapes without overwhelming commitment. For more ambitious riders, there's the option to tackle either the 80+ or the grueling 120+ mile course.
Participants will experience firsthand why this event is celebrated for its stunning vistas and challenging terrain. The Flint Hills Gravel event offers a unique blend of physical challenge and natural beauty that attracts athletes from around the globe.
