Goat Rattler 100

The Goat Rattler, set to take place on June 25, 2027, offers runners the chance to conquer some of Utah's most stunning trails around Ogden. This grueling yet breathtaking adventure features over 97% single-track terrain and spans through a challenging course with more than 22 kilometers of elevation gain.
Participants can choose between two distances: the full Goat Rattler 100-mile race starting at McGriff Park in North Ogden, UT, or the Goat Rattle 50 miler that begins on Friday evening at Pineview Reservoir's Windsurfer Beach boat ramp. Both races offer generous cutoff times and breathtaking views of the Wasatch Mountains.
The full 100-miler is renowned for its technical terrain, crossing multiple peaks including Lewis Peak and Ben Lomond Mountain. The course is not marked beyond major intersections to encourage self-navigation using a GPX file provided by organizers. This adds an element of challenge but also allows runners to immerse themselves in the natural beauty without distractions.
Crew support is permitted for both races, though participants must adhere strictly to race rules to avoid disqualification. Live GPS tracking through Trackleaders ensures that friends and family can follow along from home or provide timely assistance at aid stations.
Registration opens on November 1, 2026, with early bird pricing available until March 1st. Swag bags are a highlight of the event, offering custom gear such as Nike hoodies, Injinji socks, and unique items like corduroy hats from local artisans in Ogden Made.
For those seeking an unforgettable mountain adventure, the Goat Rattler promises to deliver both physical challenges and rewarding vistas that will leave you wanting more.
