Hope in Every Step 5k

Run. Walk. Remember. Hope.

Join us on November 7 at Crosby Confluence Park for Hope in Every Step, a special trail run/walk bringing the St. George community together to raise awareness for stomach cancer and support those whose lives have been touched by this disease.

After nearly three years of living with stage 4 stomach cancer, I’ve learned that every step matters. Whether you are a survivor, currently fighting, a caregiver, a family member, or remembering someone you love, Hope in Every Step is about celebrating the steps we are able to take — together.

Why Run?
There are so many reasons to lace up:

+ Raise awareness about stomach cancer and the people and families it affects.
+ Support stomach cancer patients and caregivers who are navigating an incredibly difficult journey.
+ Help fund research and work toward better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
+ Honor someone you love who has been affected by stomach cancer.
+ Celebrate a survivor or someone who is currently fighting.
+ Walk alongside someone who needs hope.
+ Bring your friends, family, coworkers or team and make a difference together.

This is a trail event, so come enjoy the outdoors and participate at whatever pace feels right for you.

5K Trail Run/Walk - Run it, walk it, or do a little of both.

1K Hope Walk - A meaningful way for all ages and abilities to participate.

Kids Fun Run - Let the kids join in and be part of the hope!

More Ways to Get Involved - You don't have to run to make an impact.

Participate as a team. Gather your family, friends, coworkers, cancer support group or community organization and take the trail together.

Become a sponsor. Help us raise awareness and support the important work being done on behalf of stomach cancer patients and families.

Volunteer. Help make Hope in Every Step a meaningful experience for everyone who attends.

Supporting Hope for Stomach Cancer
Proceeds from the event will support Hope for Stomach Cancer (StoCAN), an organization dedicated to empowering patients, caregivers, clinicians, researchers and advocates through education, support, research partnerships and advocacy. Their work helps people affected by stomach cancer find resources, connect with others, stay informed about research and navigate their cancer journey. (Hope For Stomach Cancer)
