The relay begins at Carlton Hall in Keighley, which opens its doors for registration at 8:00 AM on the day of the race. Participants are encouraged but not required to don festive attire or Santa hats as they make their way through the scenic terrain. The course includes a challenging final mile that ascends up Dalton Lane Mill via an accessible path.

Despite minor adjustments following recent incidents at Dalton Lane Mill, runners will experience largely unchanged routes from previous years. Registration opens on September 16, 2026, and team sizes are capped at a maximum of 40 entries. Entries can be updated through SiEntries after initial registration by one designated team member. A full race brief will be distributed approximately one week before the event date.
