Final Countdown 10k 2026

New Year's Eve marks the final race of the year, and Sidmouth is set to welcome runners with its thrilling "Final Countdown" Trail 10K. This unique event takes place on Thursday, December 31, 2026, starting at 9:30 am from Sidmouth Promenade.
The course offers a scenic journey along the South West Coast Path and through picturesque inland trails of Mutters Moor and nearby woodlands before descending to Connaught Gardens for the finish line. Participants will enjoy breathtaking coastal views and the serene beauty of East Devon's natural landscapes, making this race an unforgettable experience.
All runners who cross the finish line will receive a bespoke "Final Countdown" medal as a keepsake from their New Year’s Eve adventure. The event is open to both affiliated and unaffiliated runners with entry fees set at £23 for affiliated participants and £25 for those without affiliation.
The race features exciting awards, including trophies for the top three male and female finishers and age group prizes for first-place winners in each category. Runners must be 18 years or older to participate, and trail shoes are mandatory due to the varied terrain of the course.
