Egeskovløbet 2026

Egeskovløbet returns on November 1, 2026, inviting runners to experience the stunning autumn hues of Egeskoven forest during this beloved Danish tradition. The race offers three distances: Powerwalk/walk (7 km), a scenic loop around Bjerringbro Idræts & Kulturcenter; the classic 7 km and 14 km routes through lush woodland trails, and for those seeking a challenge, a half-marathon course that winds its way over hilly terrain. Start times begin at 11:00 AM with concurrent waves for each distance.
After crossing the finish line, participants can enjoy a communal meal in the heart of Bjerringbro Idræts & Kulturcenter before heading to unwind and relax in the center's swimming pool or sauna area. This year’s edition introduces new options like purchasing medals upon registration and additional distances including a one-mile run starting at 11:10 AM.
Egeskovløbet continues its blend of tradition and innovation, offering runners not just a challenging course but an enriching post-race experience in the picturesque setting of Bjerringbro.
