Night TRAIL afd. 3 - 2026

Welcome to Night TRAIL, an exhilarating trail running experience that combines rugged terrain with the mystique of darkness. Set in Marselisborg Forest, known for its challenging trails tested by some of the world's best orienteers, this race offers a unique adventure through small paths and wild hills.
Participants can choose from two distances: 5 kilometers or 10 kilometers, both run as loops within the forest. The course features muddy sections, water crossings, sandy stretches, and an abundance of darkness that adds to its allure. Each loop is clearly marked with reflective markers so runners don’t have to worry about navigation.
The race starts promptly after sunset on a Wednesday evening at Klubhuset Silistria in Højbjerg. Runners will find the finish line back where they started, offering a seamless transition from start to finish.
Post-race amenities include changing facilities and access to heated saunas for runners to warm up after their chilly journey through the forest. A hearty homemade vegan soup with freshly baked gluten-free bread awaits at Klubhuset Silistria, providing sustenance and community spirit in equal measure.
Top performers in each category will receive generous prizes from SALOMON and LedLenser, while additional lucky winners are drawn for extra rewards. Don't miss this opportunity to experience the thrill of Night TRAIL on November 25, 2026!
