About the Event

Eddie’s Revenge is a challenging fell race that unfolds across 5.8 kilometers with an elevation gain of 308 meters, starting at Shore Methodist Church and winding through rugged terrain to Crompton Moor's Trig Point before descending into the quarries near Buckstones Road. The route weaves through moorland trails, forest paths, and rough moorlands, offering runners a mix of well-drained sections thanks to old mine workings and muddy stretches in wet conditions.
The course is deceptively tough; it features numerous ascents and descents as competitors navigate loops and tight turns through the dense forests and open heather-covered slopes. The final lap culminates with a steep, shale-covered descent that tests runners' endurance and technical skills before reaching the finish line near Buckstones Road. This race is not for the faint-hearted, promising an exhilarating challenge amidst Yorkshire's dramatic landscapes.
