Cloudcroft Ugly Sweater 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk

Celebrate the holiday spirit on December 5th, 2026, by joining the Second Annual Cloudcroft Ugly Sweater 5K & 1 Mile Walk. Lace up your running shoes or walking boots and head to Cloudcroft, New Mexico, for a festive start to the Christmas season.
The event kicks off at 4:30 PM with runners taking the lead in the 5K race followed closely by walkers participating in the 1-mile route just minutes later. The day culminates in an awards ceremony recognizing the top three male and female finishers, along with a special prize for the ugliest sweater contest.
Participants will gather at the Cloudcroft Pavilion to start their journey through this charming mountain town known for its picturesque landscapes and cozy atmosphere. Registration includes exclusive SWAG items such as custom long-sleeve shirts (for early registrants) or short-sleeved ones, finisher's medals, and race bibs adorned with festive designs.
Early check-in is available on December 4th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cloudcroft Brewing Company. On the day of the event, registration opens at 3:00 PM at the Pavilion. The festivities continue after the races as everyone heads downtown for the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony and parade.
