BCC Turkey Trot

On Thanksgiving morning, join the vibrant community of runners for our annual Fun Run and Turkey Trot 5K. This festive race is all about coming together with family, friends, and neighbors to start the holiday season on foot. Set against a backdrop of autumn foliage and warm holiday spirit, the event offers both a laid-back atmosphere and an opportunity to enjoy some friendly competition.
The 5K route winds through charming neighborhoods, featuring gentle hills that challenge runners while providing scenic views along the way. For those looking for a shorter distance, there’s also a one-mile fun run designed for all ages, perfect for little ones eager to participate in their first race day tradition.
Registration costs $25 per runner and includes a commemorative t-shirt, ensuring participants leave with more than just memories of the morning's festivities. Medals will be awarded to top male and female finishers as well as boys and girls under 14 years old for both events.
The event kicks off at Willow Run Road where runners gather before the fun run starts promptly at 8:15 a.m., followed by the Turkey Trot starting line-up just fifteen minutes later. Prerace t-shirt pick-ups are available on November 25 from 4 to 6 p.m., and post-race pickups will be held December 16 during the same time frame.
Volunteers play an essential role in making this event a success, with opportunities ranging from course marshals to registration assistants. Those interested can sign up through our Volunteer Dashboard or contact Ashley Reeves for additional roles if needed.
Join us on November 26, 2026, and help make the start of Thanksgiving morning memorable and full of joy.
Enjoy your run!
