Truth or Consequences Desert Ultra
About the event
Truth or Consequences
Between Albuquerque and El Paso is a little town in the desert, nestled on the bank of the Rio Grande, and surrounded by rugged high desert terrain. Natural hot springs grace the historic downtown district, which also features a brewery and several restaurants. www.sierracounty.info has a wealth of area info.
Terrain
At 4200' above sea level, this is high desert. The terrain is steep, rocky, and sandy. There's a ton of vertical on each course. This might be one of the hardest races you'll do this year.
Amenities
The course might be brutal, but the town is as welcoming and friendly as they come. Visit https://sierracountynewmexico.info/ for details.
