Cleethorpes New Years Day 10K 2027, Kindly sponsored by Timber Specialists

Kick off the New Year with the Cleethorpes AC New Year's Day 10K on January 1, 2027. This fast and flat course winds through the streets of Cleethorpes and Humberston, offering runners a perfect backdrop for an ambitious start to their racing season. The UKA-measured route features two small loops followed by one large loop, making it easy for spectators to cheer on participants at various points along the way.
Chip timing ensures accurate results, while well-placed marshals guide runners through the course. Early entrants can take advantage of a £2 discount if they are affiliated with England Athletics and have a chance to claim a £100 prize as either the first male or female finisher. A top-tier incentive is reserved for those aiming to break the existing men's (29:24) or women’s (32:43) course records, each carrying a cash bonus of £200.
With limited spots available—only 750 runners will participate—you’ll want to secure your entry early. Race day registration is not guaranteed due to past sellouts; therefore, advance booking is highly recommended. On the morning of the race, collect your timing chip and number from Cleethorpes Leisure Centre before securing them with four pins on the front of your vest.
This event promises a vibrant atmosphere as runners gather for an invigorating run along the coast in early January.
