Cambridge Run Festival

Immerse yourself in the vibrant spirit of Cambridge as you join runners from near and far for an unforgettable week filled with camaraderie, competition, and scenic routes. The heart of this celebration is the annual run that takes place on September 19, 2026, but the festivities begin well before then.
The event kicks off several days earlier with a series of fun runs, workshops, and meet-and-greets designed to bring together runners at all levels of experience. Whether you are an elite athlete or just starting out, there is something for everyone throughout the week’s lineup of activities. The highlight, however, remains the main run on September 19th.
As dawn breaks on race day, participants gather in the heart of Cambridge's historic district to embark on a course that showcases some of the city’s most picturesque landscapes and landmarks. Runners will navigate through tree-lined streets and past charming college buildings before crossing the finish line amidst thunderous applause from supporters lining the route.
This event is more than just a race; it’s an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, explore iconic sites in Cambridge, and celebrate the joy of running within a supportive community.
