PHOENIX - Cambridgeshire - Halloween Run

As the sun sets over Riverside Park, an eerie allure takes hold of Regatta Meadow on Halloween night. This inaugural evening run promises to awaken your senses as you navigate through shadows that shift and secrets that hide beneath the cloak of darkness.
The event invites runners to explore a 5.3km out-and-back course winding around the park's picturesque paths and along the tranquil River Great Ouse in St Neots, from Saturday, October 31st at 4:00 PM until midnight. A head torch or chest light is mandatory for safety reasons; participants without proper lighting will not be permitted to take part.
Choose your own adventure with distances ranging from a single lap of 5km up to an ultra marathon within the event's six-hour window. The flexible start times between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM allow you to rock up at any point during that hour, eliminating waiting time for early birds or latecomers.
The course offers minimal elevation changes, making it a relatively flat and swift route through footpaths and grassy areas. With this format, there's no need to pre-decide your distance; simply start with one lap and see how you feel on the night before deciding whether to continue further into the darkness.
All runners are celebrated as finishers and winners in our eyes regardless of their chosen distance. Completing even a single loop earns you a bespoke medal, while those who push beyond will be rewarded for their endurance and bravery.
Don't miss out; spots are limited so secure your entry early to ensure your place among the daring few who dare to run when shadows come alive on Halloween night in St Neots.
As this event unfolds under the cover of darkness, it's crucial that all participants bring a head torch or chest light for visibility. This ensures everyone’s safety and enhances the eerie atmosphere as you move through Riverside Park and Regatta Meadow after dark.
