The course itself is designed with both scenic beauty and challenging terrain in mind. You'll encounter several small climbs followed by exhilarating downhill stretches that provide opportunities for speed and enjoyment. Course Rules:
Each mile must be completed in under 15 minutes; otherwise, runners will face elimination after the third mile due to time constraints imposed by road re-opening schedules.
Participants should park in designated public car parks within town. Follow signs or simply look up for Caernarfon Castle as a clear landmark from most locations. It's important to avoid parking near the start/finish line.
Water stations are placed approximately every three miles along with one at the finish, ensuring runners stay hydrated throughout their run. Portaloos and public toilets will be available around the starting area.
Medical support is provided by professionals stationed at key points including the start and finish lines as well as on course. Runners must complete a medical history form attached to their race number for proper care in case of emergencies during or after the event.
For runners who choose to withdraw, returning your timing chip to Race HQ (avoiding congestion near the finishing area) is crucial. Inform nearby marshals if you plan not to return to the finish line so we can account for your absence and ensure safety measures are followed accordingly.
Finishers will receive a bespoke medal and technical t-shirt upon completion of their race, with prize presentations scheduled around 12:15 PM for top male/female overall winners along with first-place age group awards. Merchandise such as hoodies ordered online can be collected from the merchandise tent before or after your run.

In line with UK Athletics rules, headphones are prohibited except for bone-conducting models to ensure safety during this non-closed road race environment.
