BIATHLON DEL JORDÃO 2027

On January 10, 2027, the waters off Praia da Costeirinha in Angra dos Reis will come alive with swimmers and runners competing in an exhilarating biathlon. The race starts at Avenida Marquês de Leão, where athletes gather for a morning of challenging competition. Participants can choose from two options: a standard course featuring 1 kilometer of swimming followed by a 5-kilometer run, or the sprint version with half a kilometer swim and three kilometers on land.
The event begins at dawn, with the sprint race kicking off at 7:50 AM, closely followed by the start of both the standard biathlon and relay events at 8:30 AM. The picturesque coastal setting provides an idyllic backdrop for this unique blend of aquatic prowess and endurance running.
Medals are awarded to all finishers in each category, while top performers receive additional recognition across various age groups and genders. Competitors can also opt for a premium kit that includes essentials like race gear and hydration aids.
For those unable to start at the original venue due to unforeseen circumstances, an alternative location near Orla Militar on Praia do Colégio Naval is available. Race organizers advise checking official event pages for updates or contacting Diego Mamédio directly for any inquiries regarding registration and kit pick-up details.
