CORRIDA E CAMINHADA CONTOS CLASSICOS - MAUI

The Maui Run and Walk, inspired by Polynesian mythology, takes place on December 13, 2026, at Parque Madureira in Rio de Janeiro. The event features both a 7 km run and a 7 km walk, starting at 7:30 AM. Participants can choose between the basic kit for $50 or an enhanced package that includes a t-shirt for $80. Both options require a donation of one kilogram of non-perishable food to support local charitable initiatives.
The race course winds through public and private streets, offering runners scenic views of Rio's vibrant landscape while highlighting Parque Madureira’s lush greenery and Olympic arches. The event also serves as a fundraiser for the Coração Que Ajuda and Projeto Café projects, which provide essential goods to families in need.
Kit pickup is available on December 12 from 9 AM to 7 PM at the park's administrative building near the Olympic arches. All participants must bring one kilogram of non-perishable food upon kit collection along with their identification and proof of payment.
Registration for both events opens on August 27, 2026, and closes by December 12 or when slots are filled. For more information, contact Philipe Pinheiro at (21) 99076-6733. All finishers will receive a medal to commemorate their achievement.
