O MURPH STRIKEFIT 2026

The Murph StrikeFit Challenge returns on December 19, 2026, to the vibrant municipal stadium of Angra dos Reis. This year’s edition honors loved ones who have overcome adversity or are no longer with us, turning the race into a poignant tribute and celebration of resilience.
Participants will face an intense hour and a half challenge divided into two consecutive sessions, each lasting 30 minutes. The event features four distinct categories: RX (with vests), Intermediate, Scaled, and Adaptive for duos, ensuring there’s something for athletes at various levels of fitness.
In the RX category, competitors must complete 1600 meters running, followed by a grueling sequence of 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, and 300 air squats. They then run another 1600 meters within the time cap of one hour and thirty minutes.
For those in the Intermediate category, the workout is identical but without vests. The Scaled option offers a more manageable version with half the distance running and ten rounds of modified exercises that still push participants to their limits.
The Adaptive category allows pairs to tackle 800 meters runs interspersed with ring rows, knee push-ups, and air squats across ten sets, all within the one-hour thirty-minute time limit.
This event promises a day filled with camaraderie, personal triumphs, and heartfelt tributes in Angra dos Reis’s bustling stadium atmosphere.
