Baxenden 5k Trail Race

On April 21, 2027, runners are invited to participate in a scenic trail loop starting and finishing at Baxenden Village Club. This friendly 5km race features a challenging route that winds through local paths and trails, offering participants an engaging experience amidst the natural beauty of the area.
The evening event begins with the Junior 2k race for young athletes aged U10 to U16, kicking off at 7:00 PM sharp. Registration is available on-site, and all junior entries cost £3 per participant. This race marks the second in a series of six events designed specifically for youth runners, where only the best four results will be counted towards their overall standings.
The senior race follows shortly after at 7:30 PM, providing an opportunity for adult participants to tackle the same scenic course independently or as part of the larger Accrington Fell & Trail Series. This particular event is also one of thirteen races in this series, with only nine results counting toward the final tally.
Baxenden Village Club serves not only as the starting and finishing point but also acts as the race headquarters for both junior and senior competitors. The venue offers a warm welcome to all participants and spectators alike, ensuring an enjoyable atmosphere throughout the evening.
