Båstad Marathon

Welcome to the Båstad Marathon, where runners will start and finish along the picturesque promenade in Båstad. This sanctioned adventure marathon takes place on Bjärehalvön, known for its breathtaking beauty. The course begins with a scenic run through the streets of Båstad before heading into nature up Hallandsåsen. Participants then pass through Torekov to reach the halfway mark and continue towards Hovs Hallar, descending down to Kattvik where hot-baked pancakes await at one of several hydration stations. After crossing back along the stunning coastline, runners will complete their journey in Båstad.
The half marathon starts outside Torekov with a finish line in Båstad as well. Timing chips are used for accurate results which will be available immediately after the race. Each participant receives a useful gift upon registration pick-up such as a buff or running bag. Hydration stations are strategically placed every 3 kilometers, offering sports drinks and water to keep runners fueled throughout their journey.
Upon crossing the finish line, medals await along with refreshments and opportunities for socializing at the event center. For those looking to cool off after the race, there's also a chance to take a dip in the sea on what is hoped to be a lovely summer day. Changing facilities and showers are provided at Strandängskolans idrottshall as usual.
Join us in Båstad for an unforgettable marathon experience!
