Angelsey 3 Peaks Ultra - Race the Sunset 55k

Embark on an unforgettable journey across the stunning Isle of Anglesey from east to west, racing against the setting sun. This 55k ultra race begins at Traeth Lligwy Beach and follows the IOA Coastal Path for much of its route, weaving through lush landscapes and historic landmarks. The course ascends Mynydd Bodafon, Mynydd Eilian, and Mynydd y Garn, offering panoramic views of both land and sea as you tackle 1595 meters of elevation gain.
Starting at sunrise on March 13, 2027, competitors aim to reach the finish line at Church Bay by sunset. The generous 12-hour time limit makes this challenge accessible for fit walkers and ultra runners alike. While the route is well-marked and navigational aids are provided, participants will need to navigate challenging terrain that includes significant ascents.
Finishers receive a bespoke wooden medal and certificate celebrating their achievement. This race promises not only physical endurance but also an immersive experience of Anglesey's natural beauty and rich history.
