469e Demi-marathon de l'Acadie

The Demi-Marathon de L'Acadie, set to take place on November 1, 2026, offers runners an iconic experience in Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick. This race features two distances: a half marathon (21.1 km) and a shorter option of 10.55 kilometers, both starting at the Piscine S.A. Dionne.
The course route was recently adjusted due to the closure of the Snowball Bridge but now consists of two laps around scenic Tracadie-Sheila, ending back where it began. Runners can choose between tackling the full half marathon or opting for a single loop on race day. Both distances share the same start time at 10 am.
For those expecting to complete their chosen distance in more than two hours and twenty minutes, an early start is available at 9 am, allowing volunteers to manage the event smoothly and award medals promptly after the race concludes around noon.
Participants can also opt for a virtual version of either distance, running on any course they prefer as soon as they register. Results must be submitted by sending in a photo with their watch showing time and distance before the deadline.
The top three overall finishers and the first three women in each category receive medals at the awards ceremony held on the second floor of Piscine S.A. Dionne, where participants are treated to a meal following the race.
This unique event aims to provide runners with an opportunity to train for future 10 km races while enjoying the picturesque setting around Tracadie-Sheila.
