2027 Salem Days 5K / 1 Mile Fun Run

Join us for an exciting family-friendly run on August 14, 2027, featuring both a one-mile and a five-kilometer race. The day promises to be filled with spirited competition as runners of all ages take off from Salem Pond at the start times of 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM respectively for the shorter and longer distances.
Participants can look forward to receiving medals for overall top three finishers in both races, along with age division awards. The race also includes a raffle draw after the event where participants have the chance to win various prizes. Early registration is highly recommended not only to secure your spot but also to guarantee you receive one of this year’s unique and coveted race shirts.
Parking will be available at Salem Elementary School located at 100 West 100 South, with runners encouraged to walk across the bridge to reach the starting point at Salem Pond. Registration options vary based on dates: $25 per person through August 9th, increasing to $30 from August 10th until race day morning when it will be $35 if registering onsite.
For families looking to participate together, a special family rate applies up to seven members still living in the same household. Early bird and on-site rates are also available for group registrations. Be sure to email Bart Thompson at [email protected] should you need assistance with mixed distance registrations within your family entry.
