2027 - 2027 - 5K HOPstacle Run 2027 - 2027

On March 27, 2027, runners of all ages are invited to experience the joy and excitement of Virgil Gibbons Heritage Park's annual family-friendly race. Located at 2456 S 800 W, Nibley, UT, this event promises a fun-filled morning with activities for everyone.
The day kicks off at 9:00 AM with kids' runs and obstacle courses designed to challenge young athletes in a playful setting. The main attraction is the 5K race starting around 9:30 am, followed by a one-mile "Rabbit Run" shortly after. Participants can look forward to an optional series of HOPstacles along the course, which not only add excitement but also earn them extra chances at the prize drawing.
The well-marked and professionally timed route offers runners stunning views of Virgil Gibbons Heritage Park while providing a smooth and flat surface perfect for pushing strollers or running with dogs. Prizes are awarded to top finishers in various categories including age divisions, adaptive roll division winners, and special awards like Best Finish-Line Bunny Hop Performance, Funniest Pair Crossing the Line Together, Stroller Runner, and Canine Runner.
Entry fees range from $25 early bird pricing until March 26th at midnight to a day-of price of $35. Race-day packet pick-up is available starting at 8:30 am at the park pavilion.
