The 2026 Santa Shuffle Toronto: Fun Run & Elf Walk is set for December 5th, returning to downtown Toronto's High Park amidst the festive spirit of winter. This charity run supports The Salvation Army’s work across Canada by raising funds for food and shelter needs.
High Park offers a picturesque backdrop with its sprawling green spaces and city skyline views. Participants gather on race morning along familiar park paths and benches under a canopy of winter trees, preparing to face temperatures around -4°C (feeling like -5°C due to wind chill). The course presents a brisk yet enjoyable challenge through the firm terrain of High Park.
Starting early in the cold but clear day, runners and walkers will traverse from Bloor Street East down to the lake shore before returning on Martin Goodman Trail. Finishers can look forward to festive music and photo opportunities with Santa Claus at the park entrance. The race schedule includes a 5K fun run starting at 10:00 AM and a 1K elf walk.
Participants should expect morning temperatures between -3°C and 2.6°C, with strong winds averaging 14 km/h creating chilly conditions despite occasional light snowfall providing a winter wonderland atmosphere. The event spans just three hours and twenty-eight minutes of sunshine in the early afternoon.

Save CA$10 on the standard registration fee of CA$61.59 for youth and seniors by registering before then. Group discounts are also available: a 10% reduction per person in groups of four to nine or a 15% discount if you have ten participants.
Bibs can be picked up at the Toronto Public Library on December 4th from 3 PM to 8 PM, with required ID and proof of payment. The race is open to runners aged 10 years and older; there are no age restrictions for the elf walk.
