Exhibition Place Resolution Run

Kick off the year with the second edition of Toronto’s Exhibition Place Resolution Run, set to take place on January 1, 2027. This unique 5K road race offers runners an unforgettable start to the New Year amidst one of Canada's most iconic venues.
The event begins in the warmth and comfort of the Enercare Centre where participants can gather with friends before heading out into Exhibition Place’s expansive grounds. As you lace up your shoes, enjoy a vibrant atmosphere complete with music and festive decor that sets the tone for an exciting morning ahead.
Once ready to run, doors open just moments before the race start, revealing spinning disco balls and a burst of energy as runners make their way onto the 5K course. The route winds through Exhibition Place’s picturesque landscape, culminating in a memorable finish beneath the iconic Princes’ Gates—a fitting conclusion to your New Year's Day journey.
Post-race festivities include complimentary underground parking, indoor gathering spots with DJ music and refreshments such as coffee and hot chocolate on tap to help you warm up after crossing the finish line. It’s not just about completing 5 kilometers; it’s an entire morning dedicated to community spirit and celebrating a fresh start together.
Registration includes more than just race entry—participants receive a finisher medal, Resolution Run ear muffs for extra warmth during their run, and access to multiple timing points along the course so you can track your progress in detail. This event is also proud to support The Children’s Breakfast Clubs, adding an element of giving back that makes this New Year's Day tradition even more meaningful.
Join us on January 1 at Exhibition Place for a morning filled with camaraderie and celebration as we all start the year off right together.
