2026 Jeongeup Hometown Love Marathon

On December 6, 2026, runners converge at Naejangsan Maple Ecology Park for the Jeongeup Athletics Federation's marathon. The race offers both 5K and 10K distances, weaving through scenic trails dotted with vibrant maple trees. Participants can enjoy a unique blend of physical challenge and community spirit as part of Jeongeup’s hometown donation program. For local residents, an entry fee of KRW 30,000 includes a special gift certificate worth KRW 10,000 from the city. Those traveling from outside Jeongeup must contribute a KRW 100,000 donation to the community and provide proof of submission by registration deadline on November 20 at midnight.
The event accommodates up to 700 runners on a first-come, first-served basis, with family-friendly categories for both distances. Race day festivities kick off with an opening ceremony at 9:30 a.m., followed by the start of the race at 10:00 a.m. Detailed course maps and event gifts will be distributed to participants on December 6th, adding excitement and exclusivity to this memorable run through Naejangsan's picturesque landscapes.
