WAGURUN 2026

Wagurun is an engaging 5 km food running festival that blends exercise with culinary delights, offering runners of all ages a unique experience beyond just racing times. Set to take place on November 21, 2026, starting at noon in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, South Korea, the event invites participants to enjoy four distinct food courses and various activities along the route.
Entry fees amounting to KRW 30,000 secure access to a comprehensive kit including race bibs, candy, bandanas, gym sacks, digestive drinks, and sports socks. Upon finishing, runners receive commemorative medals while three lucky participants will win medal display cases through a prize draw on the day.
Safety is paramount; all participants are advised to cater to their health conditions by adhering to staff instructions throughout the event. Pets may join under guardian supervision but must be kept safe at all times due to potential allergens and cross-contact among food items, for which no substitutes or special dietary accommodations will be provided on-site.
With its vibrant atmosphere and scenic setting in Gwangju, Wagurun promises an unforgettable day of fun-filled activities and delicious treats.
