About the event
On November 21, 2026, the third National Mountain Outdoor Challenge Race will take place in Anji County's Hanggai Town and Village Outdoor Grassland in Zhejiang Province. The race offers two distinct categories: a challenging 23.5KM越野跑 for seasoned athletes and a more leisurely 11KM徒步健身组 for fitness enthusiasts.
The longer course, starting at 9:10 AM, features an elevation gain of 1,352 meters and loss of 1,350 meters over rugged terrain that includes both hardened paths (40%) and dirt tracks (60%). Competitors will encounter three checkpoints along the way, with a generous time limit of six hours. The shorter hike begins at 9:00 AM, covering an elevation change of 363 meters up and down across similar mixed surface conditions.
Both routes showcase stunning natural scenery and offer participants an immersive experience in the picturesque landscapes of Hanggai Town's outdoor grasslands.
