About the Event

Join the Freezer 5K Run and 1 Mile Family Fun Walk, a heartwarming community event set for December 13, 2026. This unique race takes place along the picturesque powerline trail in Horsham Township, offering runners and walkers breathtaking views of the winter landscape.
Participants can start their day early with packet pickup at the Horsham Library on Saturday from 1:00PM to 3:00PM or opt for same-day registration between 8:30AM and 9:30AM. The event kicks off with a family-friendly walk starting at 9:45 AM, followed by the competitive 5K race beginning promptly at 10:00 AM.
The certified 5K course winds through scenic Babylon Road in Horsham, PA, culminating back at Simmons Elementary School where runners will be professionally timed. Race organizers provide age category medals for top three finishers and overall prizes for men’s and women’s fields. Strollers are welcome on the route, making it an inclusive event suitable for all ages.
Proceeds from this festive run benefit local families in need by filling freezers with non-perishable food items during the holiday season. In return, participants can receive a surprise coupon from a local Horsham business upon donation.
Registration is now open at early bird rates of $30 until November 8th, standard pricing of $35 thereafter, and day-of registration for $40. Secure your spot before November 8th to guarantee a race t-shirt!
For more information or any questions, contact Race Director Kyle Lynch via email at [email protected].
This event is not just about running; it’s an opportunity to come together as a community and give back during the holiday season.
