2026 Dana Point Turkey Trot

On Thanksgiving Day, the Dana Point Harbor transforms into a festive hub for runners of all ages during the 49th Annual Dana Point Turkey Trot. This year's race offers participants four distinct options: a lively 5K run/walk, an invigorating 10K challenge, and a longer 15K Combo that combines both distances for those seeking extra mileage. For younger runners, there’s also the Kids 1-Mile Gobble Wobble, designed to introduce children to the joy of running.
The race courses wind through scenic coastal paths along Dana Point Harbor, offering breathtaking views of the ocean and a chance to soak in the vibrant atmosphere. Participants will enjoy crisp autumn air as they navigate the terrain, which includes gentle hills that add an element of challenge to their run or walk.
Registration for this event comes with several perks: runners receive a commemorative T-shirt designed specifically for 2026, ensuring everyone leaves the race with a memento of their achievement. Additionally, all participants will be awarded a finisher medal upon crossing the line, while timed results are provided to those competing in the adult races (the Kids Gobble Wobble is not timed). To enhance the experience further, each registrant also gains access to an exclusive virtual goody bag.
The Dana Point Turkey Trot promises more than just a race; it’s an opportunity for families and friends to come together on Thanksgiving morning before gathering around the table later in the day.
