Ruff Day Rescue Virtual 5K

Love dogs? Love making a difference in your community? Join us as we complete the Ruff Day Rescue Virtual 5K (3.017 miles)!

Ruff Day Rescue is a California-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to saving large-breed dogs in high-kill shelters in Northern California and beyond. We are coming together to save dogs from high-kill shelters through rescue, foster, and adoption and we want you, your friends, family, and especially your pups to be a part of it!

100% of proceeds will go directly to Ruff Day Rescue. This money will go towards the cost of rescue efforts, food and supplies for fosters, and veterinary care for all animals in our care including: spay/neuter, rabies, DAPPV, bordetella, heart worm testing, microchipping, and grooming prior to adoption.

Ruff Day Rescue Virtual 5K will take place on Saturday November 7, 2026. Since this race is virtual, you can walk or run your way through the 5K in your preferred location, such as a trail, a treadmill, a track, a park, etc. The course will be one that you create, just as long as the route you've chosen is safe!
