12K's of Christmas

Immerse yourself in the festive spirit of winter with The 12K's of Christmas Trail, an adventurous trail race that winds through Distington, Parton, and Harrington. This self-guided journey features approximately 12 kilometers of varied terrain, including cycle paths, lanes, and off-road trails. Participants will navigate a mix of paved surfaces and rugged pathways, making this event both challenging and scenic.
The race begins and concludes at the welcoming Distington Community Centre on Church Road. Safety is paramount; runners are advised to carry their mobile phones in case of emergencies and to leave them registered for quick access.
While there's no pressure to start at any specific time, rolling starts between 9:00 am and 10:00 am allow you the flexibility to set off when you're ready. Bags can be securely left inside the community center hall throughout the race day, ensuring your belongings are safe while you focus on the trail ahead.
