Nanxi River Mountain Run 2027 (2027楠溪江跑山赛)
About the event
Immerse yourself in the scenic beauty of China's Zhejiang Province as you lace up for the 2027 Nanxi River Trail Race on January 2, 2027. Set against the backdrop of the stunning Nanxi River Valley near Wenzhou City’s Yongjia County, this event offers three distinct race categories: the challenging 40K "Yuhuang" with a cumulative elevation gain of 2383 meters; the scenic 20K "Chanxi," featuring an ascent of 1055 meters; and the family-friendly 6K "Qinghui." Each route weaves through ancient villages, verdant rice terraces, lush forests, and historic trails, allowing runners to experience the timeless beauty described in classical Chinese poetry. The race begins at the Nanxi River Beach Music Park, with staggered start times for each category: Yuhuang kicks off at 7:00 AM followed by Chanxi at 7:10 AM and Qinghui starting promptly at 7:30 AM. Don't miss this opportunity to explore one of China's most picturesque natural landscapes on foot.
