Ito City Health Resort Project: 61st Ito Orange Beach Marathon 2027 (伊東市健康保養地づくり事業 第61回 伊東オレンジビーチマラソン2027)

The 61st Ito Orange Beach Marathon, organized by the Ito City Health Resort Promotion Committee, is held in the hot spring town of Ito on a flat course along the bay-side road beside Ito Orange Beach, with views of Sagami Bay. The course uses four lanes (some sections have two lanes because of construction, and the 2 km is run on two lanes). Distances are 2 km, 5 km and 10 km.
A lottery by bib number gives out Ito specialty products, and the special prize for entrants from outside the city is a pair stay ticket at an Ito hot spring. Runners can arrive the night before, or stay afterward and buy local seafood such as dried fish. Day trips are possible via Atami on the Shinkansen or on the Odoriko limited express, which runs directly from Tokyo.
