WRCC - Sky Stadium Graded Criterium

The Wellington Hotdog Criterium returns to the vibrant Hnry Stadium on January 17, 2027. Cyclists of all abilities will race along the Fran Wilde Walkway, which winds around the stadium's main ticket gates for a challenging yet scenic course. The event features seven laps in total—two full circuits plus an initial sprint that varies by grade. Registration opens at 8:00 AM and closes ten minutes before each grade starts racing.
Entry fees are free for members of the Wellington Masters Cycling Club, $20 for non-members from other Wellington clubs, and $40 for general participants who aren't affiliated with any cycling club in the city. Make sure to review the waiver thoroughly before completing your entry; it confirms your agreement to the event's terms and conditions.
The day kicks off at 9:00 AM with a Junior race (ages 12-15) followed by several adult categories through noon, each offering unique challenges as they progress in distance and difficulty. Cyclists should check back on the event page or email updates for any changes to grade combinations based on entry numbers.
Parking is available at the stadium's pay car park, conveniently located near the start line along Fran Wilde Walkway. For more information about course details, registration procedures, and other logistics, visit the Wellington Road Cycling Club website.
