37th Tokorozawa City Marathon (第37回 所沢シティマラソン大会)
About the event
The 37th Tokorozawa City Marathon starts and finishes at Belluna Dome, right outside the nearest station. Events are the half marathon, a roughly 6 km Challenge and a 2 km Enjoy and Family event.
The half marathon passes the Sayama Hills and Lake Sayama, with a view of Mount Fuji from the lake embankment. The Challenge suits first-time marathoners. The 2 km runs downhill all the way to the turnaround and uphill all the way back, so pacing is the puzzle.
